Would this be considered acting "STUPIDLY"?

I don't always agree with what President Obama says publicly. However, after reading this story, I find myself doing so in this case. That is if the allegations made by the family are true. The AP reports the following:

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

MOBILE, Ala. — Police in Mobile, Ala., used pepper spray and a Taser on a deaf, mentally disabled who they said wouldn't leave a store's bathroom.

The family of 37-year-old Antonio Love has filed a formal complaint over the incident on Friday.

Police tell the Press-Register of Mobile that officers shot pepper spray under the bathroom door after knocking several times. After forcing the door open, they used the stun gun on Love.

Police spokesman Christopher Levy says police didn't realize Love had a hearing impairment until after he was out of the bathroom. The officers' conduct is under investigation.

The newspaper says the officers attempted to book Love on charges including disorderly conduct, but a magistrate on duty wouldn't accept the charges.

To add insult to injury, the family accuses the police of also dropping Love off at a nearby parking lot near his home and didn't notify the family of the incident. This kind of behavior from any police department is what makes it hard for anyone to want to trust police as a whole.

Would you think this should be considered as police acting "STUPIDLY"?

I'll let "YOU" make the call.

NOW WE KNOW THE TRUTH !!!

Since President Obama's "Health Care" Press Conference, I've reserved any comment until I knew more about the incident with the Cambridge Police Department and a friend of the president's and Harvard Professor, Henry Gates. Something our president should have considered himself were he not so "sensitive" to his failing poll numbers regarding the country's dislike to his health care ideas. Like most Americans, I watched the program to see if the president could answer honest questions about the issue. What I got was the "RACE CARD" being used. AGAIN!!!

This was the actual 911 call;

Just who is Professor Henry Gates and what does he believe?

So now you know. Someone who believes "white people" are the root of all evil.

It also appears that the answer for all of the critics to President Obama and the liberal agendas he supports is to claim "racial bigotry" by those same critics and nothing else. Does this sound familiar?

Janeane Garofalo Calls Teabaggers "racist Rednecks - For more funny videos, click here

I have been quietly waiting to see just how PRESIDENT Barack Obama would handle his first "real" test where "RACE" would be the focal point of the issue. Would he be the president of "ALL" Americans or the president of "BLACK" America?

NOW WE KNOW THE TRUTH!!!

And should all America be surprised? Not really. And here's why.

NOW, who really never saw his view on "race" or how, when given a chance, he would use his position as president to intimidate our police in to backing down from enforcing the laws of the nation. We saw it first hand on election day in Philadelphia;

THERE IT IS PEOPLE. You either support the President on issues that are not in the best interest of the country or be LABELED AS "RACIST". Because if you're not BLACK, you will be "ATTACKED".

Palin Probe. The Liberal "SPIN MACHINE" is at it again.

Why doesn't stories like this ever fall on Friday's or 3 day holiday weekends like they often do for the Liberal Democrats such as Pelosi, Kennedy, Franks and the messianic President, Barack Obama?

AP NewsBreak: Palin implicated in ethics probe

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – An independent investigator has found evidence that Gov. Sarah Palin may have violated ethics laws by trading on her position in seeking money for legal fees, in the latest legal distraction for the former vice presidential candidate as she prepares to leave office this week.

The report obtained by The Associated Press says Palin is securing unwarranted benefits and receiving improper gifts through the Alaska Fund Trust, set up by supporters.

An investigator for the state Personnel Board says in his July 14 report that there is probable cause to believe Palin used or attempted to use her official position for personal gain because she authorized the creation of the trust as the "official" legal defense fund.

The practical effect of the ruling on Palin will be more financial than anything else. The report recommends that Palin refuse to accept payment from the defense fund, and that the complaint be resolved without a formal hearing before the board.

The fund aims to help Palin pay off debts stemming from multiple ethics complaints against her, most of which have been dismissed. Palin says she owes more than $500,000 in legal fees, and she cited the mounting toll of the ethics probes as one of the reasons she is leaving office.

The investigator, Thomas Daniel, sided with Palin in her frustration with having to defend herself against a barrage of ethics complaints. He suggested that Alaska lawmakers may need to create a law that reimburses public officials for legal expenses to defend complaints that end up being unfounded.

Palin posted an entry on Twitter in which she said the "matter is still pending."

"There is no final report. The Investigator is still confidentially reviewing this matter. It appears suspect that in the final days of the Governor's term, someone would again violate the law and announce a supposed conclusion before it is reached," her spokeswoman, Meghan Stapleton, said in an e-mail to The Associated Press.

But Daniel said his report was final.

Palin's friends and supporters created the Alaska Fund Trust in April, limiting donations to $150 per person. Organizers declined to say how much it has raised, and had hoped to raise about $500,000. A Webathon last month brought in about $130,000 in pledges.

In his report, Daniel said his interpretation of the ethics act is consistent with common sense.

An ordinary citizen facing legal charges is not likely to be able to generate donations to a legal defense fund, he wrote. "In contrast, Governor Palin is able to generate donations because of the fact that she is a public official and a public figure. Were it not for the fact that she is governor and a national political figure, it is unlikely that many citizens would donate money to her legal defense fund."

The ethics complaint was filed by Eagle River resident Kim Chatman shortly after the fund was created, alleging Palin was misusing her official position and accepting improper gifts.

"It's an absolute shame that she would continue to keep the Alaska Fund Trust Web site up and running," Chatman told the AP.

At least 19 ethics complaints have been filed against Palin, most of them after she was named the running mate for GOP presidential candidate John McCain. Most of those have been dismissed, and Palin's office usually sends a news release with the announcement.

The multiple ethics complaints include an investigation by state lawmakers over Palin's firing of her public safety commissioner in the so-called Troopergate scandal.

John Coale, a Washington lawyer who helped set up the fund, called the probable cause finding "crazy," adding that if upheld, it would mean that no governor could ever defend themselves against frivolous ethics complaints.

"If this complaint is true, there's no way to defend yourself" as governor, Coale said. "Anybody can keep filing ethics complaints and drive someone out of office even if you're a nut."

Coale said that unlike other states, Alaska's governor has no legal counsel's office to defend the governor from allegations brought against the governor in her official capacity.

Coale said he recommended creation of the legal defense fund, a common practice in Washington. The Web site for the Palin fund cites similar accounts created for Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and other prominent politicians.

Associated Press reporter Matthew Daly in Anchorage contributed to this report.

I really hope everyone has paid attention to what was written in the opening paragraph of this story. If you did, then you noticed that the one word used by all of the "liberals and progressives" who fear Gov. Palin and the conservative message she tries to live by often do. In this case, the word is "MAY"!

I quote the author; "An independent investigator has found evidence that Gov. Sarah Palin may have violated ethics laws by accepting private donations to pay her legal debts, in the latest legal distraction for the former vice presidential candidate as she prepares to leave office this week."

Well, all that I can say is :

1) the sky "may" fall,

2) a brown cow "may" eat green grass, produce white milk and yellow butter, make cream cheese and sour cream. And being that it is a "brown" cow, it "may" also make CHOCOLATE MILK,

3) and the next time you go to a Denny's and order "pigs in a blanket", they "may" actually give you what you ask for. PIGS IN A BLANKET!

4) And a Democrat congressman "may" have hidden $90,000.00 in his freezer and it was found because the FBI "may" have had him under surveillance for accepting bribes. ( Wait a minute. There's no "MAY" to that one. It "DID" happen. )

Just because something "may" happen or even be true, it isn't a reason to INSINUATE it as "FACT" without proof to back up the claim.

Media Attacks Against Sarah Palin Continue.

I continue to be amazed about the constant attacks the Liberal Media in America wish to have with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and her family. The latest has come from the Huffington Post. Below is a video recap courtesy of The O'Reilly Factor:

I want all of you to think about what I'm about to tell you. CHRISTIANS ARE "NOT" PERFECT! We are just like the rest of the world. SINNERS! We are guilty of things we are not proud of. We have committed all types of sin. The only difference between Christians and Non-Christians is that we Christians recognize we "are" sinners and are in need of a SAVIOR. Are we different in any other way? NO! We bleed red blood like you. We think, reason, walk and talk just like you.

We just believe in what the Bible teaches us.

And what that Bible tells me constantly is that we are not to judge others or we will be judged by the same standards we ourselves set. Satan loves to see us do this. In fact, he encourages it. Satan is described as:

The Deceiver
Satan's target - your mind; his weapons - lies; his purpose - to make you ignorant of God's will; your defense - the inspired Word of God ( The Bible ).

The Destroyer
Satan's target - your body; his weapon - suffering; his purpose - to make you impatient with God's will; your defense - the imparted grace ( Forgiveness ).

The Ruler
Satan's target - your will; Satan's weapon - pride; Satan's purpose - to make you independent of God's will; your defense - the indwelling Spirit of God ( Holy Spirit ).

The Accuser
Satan's target - your heart and conscience; Satan's weapon - accusation; Satan's purpose - to bring an indictment by God's will; your defense - the interceding Son of God, Jesus Christ.

These are the weapons of Satan. And there are Christian ( or so they say ) who are just as guilty of accusing others just as well. The church has done its share of also killing others in the name of God. Remember the Crusades? Christians have owned slaves and burned people because they thought them to be "witches" too. WE CHRISTIANS ARE "NOT" WITHOUT SIN!

That is why we need a savior. Someone who is capable of doing what we ourselves are unable to do. And if the wages of sin is DEATH, the with his freely given sacrifice, Jesus did that. He paid a price he DID NOT OWE so that those sinners who will trust in him and accept this sacrifice could receive a reward they DID NOT DESERVE, denying Satan of a prize he wants badly. YOU AND ME! Mind, body and soul.

Those of you who accuses others, STOP IT! Whether you believe in God or not, you will be judged the same way you have judged others.
